Industrial Washing

Industrial washing is a professional process that necessarily has to adhere to specific requirements and practices. It can be divided in two main areas based on the field of activity: laundries serving healthcare facilities and/or handling linen coming from nursing homes, and products for the hospitality and catering sectors. Two sectors distinguished not only by the specific linen treatments but also by the protocols and stringent regulations to be observed.

Traditional Washing

It is the washing performed in a dry-cleaning and small laundry shops, that are carrying out laundry treatments, chemical dry- and wet-cleaning, stain removal, ironing garments, clothing items and accessories, leather and fur items (both natural and synthetic), as well as home linen and fabrics.

Self-Service Laundry

Self-service laundries operate with washing machines of various sizes and programs for all types of fabrics. The most advanced self-service laundries use simple methods, with payment often available directly via smartphone. The main requirement for these laundries is that there are no attendants; customers must independently wash and dry their own garments.

Dry-cleaning, dyeing and finishing shops

Fabric finishing, also known as finishing touch, includes all treatments aimed at enhancing the fabric's characteristics. The goal of finishing is to improve the appearance and properties of the fabric, also according to its different uses. Textile dyeing is a textile finishing process carried out by specialized companies, that are able to handle large quantities of material using specific large-scale machinery.

Laundry Laboratories

Laboratories are laundries that serve various dry-cleaning and laundry facilities in the area, acting as a hub for garment maintenance. In the recent years, they have been developing as they are able to leverage economies of scale, allowing local laundries to achieve reasonable profit margins and continue their commercial activities.
