Made in Italy technology by IMESA at the service of Hospitality

The year 2023 that just ended, has left a legacy of great satisfaction and successfully completed ambitious projects. It was IMESA’s 55th anniversary year, but most of all it was the year of various technological innovations that further enhanced our entire products range.

Easy line and Smart line

We have consolidated and optimised the Easy line and Smart line concept of Flatwork ironers and Drying ironers range to successfully respond to the needs of different customers and offer them a customised product. We have improved the performance and ironing quality of the Flatwork ironers and Drying ironers lines by introducing new functions and proposing new ironing lengths in order to fulfil the ironing needs of flat linen.

We have also published the Laundry for You PAY App, a spin-off of the already well-known IMESA Laundry for You App. Laundry for You, dedicated to the laundry technicians and managers, allows to monitor and measure the performance and consumption of an activity, even remotely. Laundry for You PAY, on the other hand, is dedicated to end-users of a self-service service and offers two key functions: BOOKING and PAYMENT.

OPTIWASH® cleansing line by IMESA

Last but not least, we have completed our cleaning line OPTIWASH® by IMESA, which includes now not less than 7 products:

• TEN – Complete multi-enzyme detergent based on surfactants

• SUPER TEN – Degreasing and emulsifying alkaline detergent

• FLUFFY TEN – Concentrated fabric softener with long-lasting microencapsulated fragrance

• OXYE TEN – Active oxygen stain remover and disinfectant

• CHLOR TEN – Active bleaching and stain removal agent at low temperatures

• NEUTRAL TEN – Neutralising agent for detergent residues removal

• DECAL TEN – Descaling agent for limescale removal to protect the washing machine

Ho.Re.Ca sector: Imesa official partner of Villa Terzaghi

2023 was the year when Ho.Re.Ca. sector was once again at its best, a condition fully confirmed by the results obtained at HOST Milan trade fair and to continue this story of success, IMESA has achieved a major goal, that of being an official partner of Villa Terzaghi, a Restaurant and Cooking School at the outskirts of Milan. Villa Terzaghi is a school restaurant promoted by the Maestro Martino Association, founded and chaired by chef Carlo Cracco, whose aim is to promote the future generations of Italian catering through education.
FUTURE, SUSTAINABILITY and MADE IN ITALY are the cornerstones of this project, and IMESA fits perfectly with the concept of territory, Made in Italy and sustainability. In addition to the main characters, school restaurant and cooking workshops, the cast is completed by a modern in-house laundry/ ironing room specifically designed to meet the most advanced requirements of a gourmet restaurant. The finest fabrics used for the restaurant and catering mise en place are exclusively Made in Italy and require careful and sustainable care. We are talking about 60 students per year between the dining room and kitchen and more than 5000 customers attended in a year, which corresponds to an adequate amount of tablecloths, napkins, uniforms and all the linen needed for the catering and reception activities.

Villa Terzaghi’s laundry by IMESA includes equipment and detergents.
Linen washing is carried out with two LM series highspin washing machines of 11 and 18 Kg, the drying with an ES Smart tumble dryer of 18 Kg capacity equipped with a heating pump, and ironing with an FI Smart series flatwork ironer with a roller of 33 cm diameter and 200 cm length. The LM high-spin washing machines are equipped with a 7″ Touch Screen IM11 computer that allows total control of washing cycles via Wi-Fi, and communicates with the IMConnect portal and the Laundry for You app.
The ES Smart rotary tumble dryers are equipped with an IM10 computer touch screen that allows the management of the drying parameters even when the cycle is running; when equipped with an IoT module, the ES Smart tumble dryer is also able to communicate remotely via Wi-Fi. The drum rotation inversion and the multi-step heating function are two of the features of the Smart dryer that guarantee the optimal and gentle treatment of textiles, ensuring their maintenance over time. The flawless quality and impeccable look of the table linen is a fundamental condition in a restaurant, especially in an environment where the kitchen, dining room and atmosphere operate at high levels.

FI Smart roller ironer for quality ironing

The FI Smart flatwork ironer is the full-optional version that guarantees quality ironing for every type of flat linen: high performance, user-friendly and extremely safe for the operator.
OPTIWASH®, the detergents line by IMESA, completes the laundry equipment. We have directly followed every stage of the project as IMESA, from the consulting to the selection of the machines, from the inspection to the detergents supply.

With the support of our partner Maprolav, represented by Mr Stefano Bonora, we coordinated the delivery, installation and the starting operation of the machines.
